I took a few days off work to roam around the desert of western Arizona. The temperatures were alittle on the cool side but I
was able to find a few subjects to photo. Every snake I saw had a full belly so it's nice to know there is plenty of food out there.
This is a male desert collared lizard that gained my trust and let me hang out with him as he patroled his territory. Posed
lizard photo usually don't come out good so the best way to photo them is to get shots of them basking.
While climbing around the rocks trying to get photos of the collared lizard, I made sure I watched where I put my hands and
feet.
